I recently received the following e-mail. I am a baiter at 419eater.com and am pretending to be Diane.

Reference to the statement of claim forwarded to our bank,we take this
opportunity to express our sympathy and pray that you accept our condolence
for the death of our late customer Engr.Newman Diane the owner of the
account number 133 0643 6699.

In response to your request, be informed that our management has considered
it favorably and has consequently approved the transfer as demanded.

However, in line with our official procedure, you are expected to secure an
Affidavit of Claim and Letter of Administration from the Federal High Court
here in Nigeria authorizing our bank to remit the fund to you as the next of
kin to the deseased.The original copies should be sent to our bank for
notification. If you have not obtained the Affidavit of Claim, you are to do
so by contacting the Federal Ministry of Justice by mail on (
federalministryjusticehq@fastermail.com ) for the attention of justice
Kayode Esho.

Finally, we will like you to reconfirm your account coordinates to us so
that we can programme the payment to your account without delay.

I was concerned because Ray WhiteHead may be a real person. It was suggested that I post this here, so here it is. I don't have much else information, but whatever I can get for you, I will.

I googled ["Ray Whitehead" guestbook mugu] and got nothing. But when I googled ["Ray Whitehead" guestbook] I found two potential hits in the UK. One from 2000 who lives in Bexleyheath and one from 2002 who says he used to live in Chelmsford but now lives in Brentwood.

Both of these are a bit old but I'm not sure what else to do.

Googling "Ray Whitehead" returns many hits - it's impossible to know which, if any, is this person. It could be another baiter (you could try posting on Eater to see if anyone is using this name for baiting) or, as you say, a real person but unfortunately there's nothing we can do with just the name.

Thanks. I figured as much. I did check in eater, and they directed me here. I simply had to do whatever I could to try to help this guy just in case he is a regular person.
