We don't need your real name. In fact we actually advise you not to publish personal details about yourself here.

Are these lottery scammer still contacting you? If they are I recommend that you block them immediately from you account. If you can dispose of the email account and sign up for a new one even better. This way the scammers will not be able to contact you by changing their email address if they realised they've been blocked.

Ahh, now i understand, you mean o que (= what).
I don't think you have to worry to much, there is not really much they can do with a scan of your passport. Usually they just want to get it, to see who they are dealing with.

I agree. Don't worry about this and just "walk away".

Never communicate with them again, not even if they phone you. Ignore them as if you are dead...

I've just been through this with a woman that I warned about another type of fraud. She had told the scammers her name, phone number and address and was worried about identity fraud where the scammers would use her identity to empty her bank account.

There is nothing to worry about with you having just sent a scan of your passport. They shouldn't be able assume your identity from just that. Apart from knowing who they are dealing with, having you send a scan of your passport is really a psychological ploy to drag you into the scam. Once you've sent them something that hasn't cost anything then you will be less worried about sending them money.

As has been said, don't talk to them any more, and if you can change your e-mail address then you may feel just that little bit safer.
